SIMPLE PERCEPTIONS (Monochrome Photography Practice)

“Leave your simple ways behind, and begin to live; learn to use good judgement.” -Proverbs 9:6 (NLT)

The term “black and white,” in reference to simplicity, is no longer valid in my mind.  Every color, shadow and highlight work together to form beautiful images.  The same goes for perceptions- they are not always what they seem to be (or as they are perceived by the masses.)  An open and discerning mind for the Kingdom of Heaven and Eternity with God…This is my constant prayer.

May we no longer live as the simple!

Note: The photos in this post are from my monochrome practice this evening with the following equipment: Canon 7D, EF 50mm 1.8, primarily manual mode and then bulb for the later evening shots.

  1. It sounds to me like someone is having an awakening. 🙂

    • The stagnant water is beginning to flow. I really like your post about perceived pain. It was helpful in putting “pain” into perspective in the grand array of emotions while moving forward. Kinda neutralized the obnoxious side-thoughts.

      • Water to wine my friend… Joy in the spirit.

Isa 16:10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.

      • I’m not all the way awake yet- literally- but it looks like you’re inferring I will not be singing with gladness anymore? 😟. I guess I better read the context around this verse!

      • Oops, maybe that was not a good enough example that wine is joy. Let’s try this instead.

        Wine as JOY:
Judges 9:13 And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

Remember, you said earlier that “The stagnant water is beginning to flow” as in referring to something I wrote about Moses and the sea turning to blood as if it’s a dead spirit that is stagnating and thus the water is as the blood of a dead man. But your spirit waters are revitalizing and thus you have turned your water into wine and not dead blood or rather your Spirit has turned again into Joy through truth. Hence, “JOY in the SPIRIT” (Wine from water).

        Water into Wine:
Joel 3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

This is the essence of this story of Christ turning water into wine. If we are building the authority of truth up within us into a temple of the Lord then Christ is that temple made of many truths we are manifesting within. Jesus (Freedom) Christ (Authority), IE: the Truth that sets us free. Till the fulfillment of such a temple is built in you you have gathered together many good and solid truths (Jews) but as of yet they are only rules and have not fully delivered you unto freedom, but in such you will have only exchanged one master for another. You set aside the beast self only to gain rules in which to govern it. This too is not freedom, so a choice is made to stay a prisoner or to be free, hence the choice of Barabbas (Means: Slave) and Jesus (Means: Free) and the Jews (Higher ideals) choose to remain a slave to their laws by choosing Barabbas (His name literally means: Son of a slave. IE: Son means to Build so, Built into slavery). But this temple you have built so far that makes Christ’s like authority within you is only the rules that bring your understanding, but you must then tear it all down to remove judgment completely so that you may love freely… Love is not free if trapped in rules (It is balanced by understanding but not strictly limited to exactness). You were once a beast but you learned to tame the beast with truth (This is where most Christians today and Jews are stuck), now learn to love the world freely without judging it, and thus this temple is torn down and Christ is then sacrificed on a cross (Make a stand (Choice) and cross over: Transcend) to make room for love, and thus water and blood flowed from His side… SPIRIT AND JOY, for His Blood is the JOY of wine and not the spirit of death.

        Bead is understanding:
Proverbs 12:11 He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.

Read John 6:48-58 and consider the act of eating as gaining the strength of a thing and thus the Bread is that of understanding that builds the house. For Moses gave us mana (Meaning: What is it?) which are the questions that lead you forward, but Christ is the truth and thus answers that you need to know (Bread of Understanding)… and his blood is wine of joy in your spirit because your thoughts are alive and vitalized with living truth

        John 6
48 I am that bread of life. (Living truth)
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. (Questions are not Joy, only a desire to know)
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. (The WORLD is YOUR SOUL/MIND)
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? (The Jews are the higher ideals you have been striving to that have become stagnant as slaves to their own rules)
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. (Son: Builder of truth)
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (The final day is the last stage of development leading to Nirvana)
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. (Truth in You and of you)
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. (In the Sky: In a Lofty State: Higher State of Being through understanding)
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. (Salvation from ignorance: IE DEATH. Never be dead in the spirit. Free thought is living truth)

So for SIX days you labor to create the seventh stage rest (Nirvana). So we Join in other ideals apart from the Perfect law of the JEWS where all truths are acceptable as beneficial if used and seen for what they are. So a GENTILE wedding is come and SIX water Pots or SIX STAGES of SPIRITUAL (Water Pots) thoughts are made into living truth.

        John 2:
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

In the end the new man is better than the old… You are being made new through living truth.
