The struggles of being chosen… “Cee’s Flower of the Day” Series❤️

A beautiful rose, planted [obscurely] far away from her rose garden counterparts… You see, she has the general appearance of an ordinary rose, however, she posesses an inner strength, making her unique. She’s set apart to bring beauty to a barren terrain and her gardener recognized her potential and so planted this rose bush amongst the rugged landscape to allow the unleashing of her true vibrant beauty.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything”. James 1:2-4

At first she struggled and even shed some of her beautiful, lush leaves, in rebellion to being set so far away from the other roses who live across the way in a large fountain bed…together.

Approximately two months living as a lone rose bush, separate yet chosen, she is getting stronger- more beautiful and sure of her purpose! Her gardener has taken care of her every need, has tested her strength at times, and has always watched over the enduring growth of this beautifully strong rose bush.

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

She is set aside because she is made for the job she has been given; she is chosen for her strength and her potential to grow strong, providing beauty, grace and mercy to an otherwise barren region of the desert terrain.

Blessings for a beautiful day,

Greta
