2015 has been one of the most blessed of all Mother’s Days for me. My children weren’t Angels- no brunches or spa treatments were had. Quite candidly I must admit: I don’t remember even showering this morning….😷. Uhhum. This is not the norm…..just a very early start…
Anyway, as I reflect on this day, I am feeling great joy in my very blessed heart. We served, we had fellowship, my son played his violin beautifully in his recital, I had family, friends, messy tacos and a relaxing afternoon with my best friend, Mr. Hartmann.
For all of this I THANK GOD! I thank Him for this day and for shaping my heart to be able to find such joy. I thank God for my Moms. This year, I wrote them a letter and I want to share it here- one of the places where I pour out my heart before my Lord.
“Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the LORD will be joyful.” (Proverbs 16:20 NLT)
Expressions of gratitude for my Moms (handwritten):
Ps- I especially appreciate my “Mumsie”, who has raised me so faithfully in the Lord, who gave birth to me and who suffered for me and with me through my darkest trials.
