The urgency for prayer is nagging at my soul. Far from a news junkie, I found no way to dodge the headlines today.  Deep sorrow is weighing on my heart and I have nothing more to write than to urge you to pray; for our leaders, our front-line men and women who have raced to the scenes and for the many people who are suffering unimaginable loss and pain as we speak.

“For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery.”
Ecclesiates 8:6 (NIV)
